Busfoot Property was founded in 2014 when Jeannette and Chris decided to invest in residential properties in London and Cambridgeshire. Since 2018 the focus has shifted to expanding the portfolio in Manchester, where Jeannette is originally from.
When Jeannette made the decision to step back from her full time corporate CEO role in travel at the end of 2017, she joined partnership with Chris, and began to drive their business expansion to her home town of Manchester as well as Cambridgeshire. Prior to setting up Busfoot Property Chris spent over 35 years in the travel industry. His early career spent running large overseas operations, heading up purchasing for some of the best known brands in travel, before becoming Managing Director. Having run his own personal training business in the past, Chris was looking to become his own boss again, and his passion for property provided the perfect opportunity.
